Southern Baptists are a Missions People!  We pray fervently for missionaries around the world, give generously to their support and to spreading the Gospel, and go as God gives the opportunity!  Some of  mission groups and projects are:

Baptist Men - for men of all ages.  They monthly hold worship services at the Haven of Rest (3rd Tuesdays), several times a year take a construction team to areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina, lead a special Men's Prayer time (3rd Sunday, 9:15am, Fellowship Hall), and respond to special needs in our congregation and community.

Missionary House - on the corner of our church property sits our beautiful Missionary House.  This home is completely furnished for Southern Baptist missionary families who have returned to the States from serving overseas. Families can stay anywhere from a month to a year and are only responsible for their utilities.  For further information about staying here, contact our church office.

Bristol Food Pantry - each month (4th Tuesday) our ladies join with other area churches to help distribute food to families in need.

Samaritan's Purse Christmas Shoebox Ministry - each year our church members compile hundreds of shoeboxes filled with Christmas presents and send them through the Samaritan's Purse to children around the world.  Throughout the year we collect specified items each month to send overseas.

Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) - what can we say about our women - they are the backbone of our church's mission program!  They regularly meet each month to pray for our International, North American, and State missionaries as well as plan and carry out mission projects in our area.  Ladies, come be a part of one of these exciting groups and have your influence felt around the world!

Women on Mission

• Contempo Women - meets the 1st Monday evening at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall
• Baptist Women - meets the 1st Tuesday at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.  This is a combined meeting for all or our Women on Mission groups.
• Hicks/Lyons Group - meets the 2nd Tuesday at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall
• Yarnell Group - meets the 2nd Tuesday afternoon in the Fellowship Hall

Mission Friends - for 4-year olds through 1st grade, meets at 6:30 on Wednesday evenings (during the school year) in "Testament Town" (3rd floor).
